Wow! I haven't updated this thing in, well, pretty much ever. Used to have fairly consistent updates, but for the most part, I only recently returned to dA. Tried to remove my account and thusly everything contained therein. I do that every now and then, having at times grown tired of the steady influx of poorly drawn manga characters; emo submitters who complain while, at the same time, live at home with their parents and no bills, etc.; and poorly done nude art (I agree, the nude body can be a work of art (see the Venus de Milo), but very rarely does anyone master the nude-as-art techniques necessary (in my opinion)). I'm not saying that all manga art is poorly done, and that there aren't people who truly deserve or have to be emo (though that whole scene just doesn't compute for me), or that tasteful nude art doesn't exist. Art is in the eye of the beholder; I reckon that, to most people, my eyes are fairly flawed (i.e, optometrists.) I stay on dA mainly to keep in contact with a few friends made independently through the site and made primarily through the site. 'Nuff said.
The book has been jump started! Now that the college semester's over, brainstorming sessions and note consolidation has restarted in earnest. New characters have been introduced, old characters refined, settings and scenery have been altered and revamped...I'm feelin' good, how you feelin', eh? The same basic premise of the story has not changed, but with the additional information given (and, at the same time, extraneous information purged), I can continue the series along so many different paths: from the human point of view, from the sennen point of view, from the khalothi, from the sciocrats, from the cibeans....Kind of over whelming when I think about how many different ways I can take this world. But for now, I'm working on the sennen portion of the books (and for those interested, the sennen COULD be called anthropomorphs, but the stories are not solely dedicated to the realm of "furry" fandom. Nothing wrong with that, from one fan of the form to another." I'm excited! Sat down the day before with a voice recorder and finished what I needed for subsequent character development, and I plan on finishing the details needed for the settings tonight. By Friday, hopefully, I plan on having a flexible, working outline of the first book, complete with prologue.
Also, thanks to

for letting me commission a piece of her work! She's an amazing artist, and I encourage all who read this to visit her gallery and gaze in wonder. You won't be disappointed!
Saraba ja!
